Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!
It is an honor to be an educator especially as a member of the Livingston Wolf Pack. I have been a teacher for 32 years (16 at Ballico) and I am as excited by education today as the first day I stepped into a classroom. I hope to bring my love of life and learning to my classroom every day and look forward to working with these inspiring young people.
I was fortunate to be involved in competitive athletics at a young age, swimming and playing softball and basketball. Basketball paid my way through college and taught me so much about honor, sportsmanship, communication, cooperation, hard work, perseverance and simple joy. I attended Lower Columbia College (Washington State) and Lewis Clark State College (Idaho) and earned my BA and Teaching Certification at CSU Stanislaus, I live in Fresno...yep, I commute an hour every day each way--that's Wolf Pack Pride! I have traveled a lot in my life: Canada, Cozumel, Tahiti, and Cooks Island being some of my favorites. I love the outdoors, especially the mountains and the coast. I am captivated by people's gifts especially in theatre and sports and am a proud member of the 12th man-Go Seahawks! But I am most inspired when I am in my classroom where I witness the growth and success of my students. |
